BBC has no choice but to investigate the Savile allegations

The BBC exists on statutory licence fees paid by UK residents who use its services. It is not in a position to decide whether or not to investigate the apparently substantial allegations of sexual abuses of young girls by Jimmy Savile and, it is now being said, others. It simply has to do so.

It was the children of licence payers who were seemingly abused; and those alleged to have committed the abuses were paid from revenue raised from us through our licence fees. The BBC has made us complicit in what is alleged to have gone on.

On a daily basis, emerging information indicates ever more strongly that there was not only tacit condoning of Savile‘s unspeakable abuses but that there is a real possibility of a paedophile ring within the BBC, with its own supply chain.

The notion of ‘Auntie’ Beeb is close to tarnished beyond recall already, with well known figures in the corporation admitting to knowledge of talk of these activities or to having caught glimpses of more than questionable behaviours.

They are saying these things in the detached manner of the archaeologist – but they lived with and through these times and did nothing.

This shrug of abdication – ‘these things happen’ – may be the exit of choice of the sophisticate; but young children,whatever they may look like, are very far from being sophisticates.

These kids needed Auntie’s protection and were continuingly left open to abuse. This casts the most serious possible doubt on the core values of our national broadcaster.

And how can we be sure that there is not some latter day version of this going on in the corporation today?

Pasdophiles are not just yesterday or ‘then’. They are an enduring social as well as personal disease. Media stations like the BBC provide constant access to young children – as with CBeebies and Blue Peter.

Any normal person will be horrified by this very notion. But what reason do we have to dismiss this as an area of risk? ‘Trust’ was what we had yesterday.

 

영국 방송사 BBC의 유명 MC였던 고(故) 지미 새빌(31 October 1926 – 29 October 2011)이 상습적으로 미성년자를 성폭행한 혐의를 받고 있는 것으로 밝혀져 화제다.

지난 7일 영국 일간지 가디언에 따르면 지난해 10월 사망한 지미 새빌이 수차례나 10대 소녀들을 상습 성폭행했다는 의혹이 제기됐다. 이는 영국 ITV가 지미 새빌의 성폭행에 대해 다룬 다큐멘터리가 발단이 되어 방송 후 40여 명들의 여성이 피해 사실을 경찰에 제보한 것으로 전해졌다.

단어의 단은 짧은 단이 아닌 홑단 이라는것.
문장에서 단어를 셀때는 띄어쓰기를 보면 된다.
단! 지명,관사는 묶어서 센다

예전(대략 2000년전)에는 단어가 많이 없었다.
하지만 시대가 올라가면서 단어들은 많아지고 그것들을 분류해둔게 8품사(우리나라는 9품사)
즉 모든 품사는 단어!

8품사를 정리하자면

- 명(名)사 : 아빠.호랑이
- 형용사 : 못생긴,잘생긴,아름다운 (명사를 꾸며준다)
- 대명사 : 명사 대신 쓰는 품사로써, ex) 이거(피자) 먹고 싶다. - 피자대신 이거(This)를 지시대명사
ex) 제가 한말씀 드리겠습니다. - 사람을 칭해서 제가 라는 말을 쓰는게 인칭대명사
- 동(動)사 : 달린다. 먹는다. 대부분 ~다 로 끝난다. (명사를 도와준다)
- 부사(aderb) : 동사를 꾸며주는 품사 ex) 빠르게 뛰다, 느리게 걷다
[aderb를 어원으로 풀어쓰면 동사쪽으로 말그대로 동사를 꾸며주는 품사 ]
- 감탄사 : Oh!, Bravo!, Ah! 사람의 감정상태를 나타내는 품사
- 접속사 : 말 그대로 접속해주는 품사 ex) I love you but you hate me(나는 당신을 사랑하는데 그러나(하지만) 당신은 나를 싫어해)
- 전치사 : 맨 마지막에 태어난 품사이고, 기능이 포인트! 전치사 때문에 영어가 편리해 졌다.

8품사 다시한번 정리

- 명사: 인류 최초의 단어, 이름가진 단어 ex) 호랑이, 엄마, 아빠, 비누, 과자, 서울
- 동사: 한국말로 -다 로 끝나는거 동작을 나타내는것 ex) 씻다, 먹다, 줍다, 뛰다
- 형용사 : 명사를 꾸며주는 단어 ex) 아름다운, 예쁜, 귀여운 (-ㄴ으로 끝난다)
- 부사: 동사를 꾸며주는 품사 ex) 맛있게 먹는다, 빠르게 뛴다, 일찍 일어난다
- 감탄사: 감정을 타나내는 품사 ex) Oh!, Yeh! WoW! Bravo!
- 대명사: 사람,사물을 "나","저것"이라고 대신 부른다 ex) 나는 학생입니다.(인칭대명사), 저거 누구꺼냐?(지시대명사)
- 접속사: 접속해주는 품사 ex) She is beautiful and smart(그녀는 아름답고 똑똑하다)
- 전치사: 명사 앞에 위치하는 품사 ex) in, on, to, of [He lives(동사) in Busan] 그는 부산에(부사구) 산다.
※동사를 꾸며주기 때문에 부사구! 일단 이정도만 알고 있기!
[The building(명사) in Busan is big] 부산에(형용사구) 있는 그 건물은 크다.
